2016 Roundup: My Year in Stories

2016 was a harrowing year, for me and most other people. Still, I can’t deny there were some good things in my year. I completed edit three of my WIP, and wrote novel number seven during NaNoWriMo. I visited Colorado twice–once for my niece’s graduation, and again for my parents’ 50th anniversary. It was fun visiting family and getting out to explore my home state. In the meantime, I wanted to talk about something I’m really excited about lately: BULLET JOURNALING!

Before you quietly X out of this post, let me briefly explain…

Slowly Into Spring

Writing is hard.

Boo-hoo, I know. But it is. Heading into the third draft, I expected things to go a little faster, but sometimes it’s really hard to concentrate. =\

Now that it’s spring, the weather is nicer and there are more things battling for my attention. Some days I say, “I really wanted to edit a chapter today, but I’ll do two tomorrow.” Then a whole week passes and I didn’t edit at all. With summer looming, I know I really need to get on the ball.
